Hello all!
When you fill out the form, please select one option for your interest level regarding the Homecoming Halftime Show. The descriptions are as follows:
Full Marching (Group 1) - Dying to get back on the field and march a few sets? This year, UMBAS will expand our marching options for halftime and have an option to get back out there to march and play. Marchers will be required to attend the University of Minnesota Marching Band rehearsal on Thursday, October 24th, as well as the normal Saturday morning rehearsal on October 26th. This will require learning an additional song and being able to read and interpret drill movements. Get excited to get back on the field with the UMMB!
Traditional Playing (Group 2) - Similar to previous years, we will have a group that stands and plays in the front. This commitment requires Saturday morning rehearsal attendance. Start getting those chops back for a great performance!
Field Recognition (Group 3) - This year, we wanted to include an option to recognize our alumni who would prefer not to play, but would still like to participate and be recognized for their contributions to the University. The lowest time commitment, this group would meet before halftime and walk out in front of the band and playing alumni to be recognized on the field, similar to the Title IX celebrations. We look forward to showing off our proud alumni!
