Title IX Anniversary: Women in Marching Band
*UPDATE: Kick off time is set for 1:30pm. There is no game ticket block for this event.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Title IX and the permanent inclusion of women in the marching band. Betsy McCann, director of the UMMB, invites all female-identifying alumnae of the marching band (from all years) to join us on the field at the halftime show on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29; interested individuals are required to RSVP on this Google Form for field access. Registration for field access closes on Wednesday, October 19. Details for the halftime show will be sent out by the Marching Band to those who registered.
Note: Spouses and loved ones of those participating in on-field recognition are required to purchase their own game tickets. Those participating in the halftime show that plan to view other aspects of the game from the stands are required to purchase tickets.
Exact timing for the event will be released following the announcement of a kickoff time. *Please keep an eye out for upates to this website and emails to come.
