About the event
Come to the fair and perform on the U of M Stage with other alumni! We'll cover all the old favorites (aka school songs) and maybe a feature or two (think "Hey Baby" and/or "Beer Barrel Polka" - and sometimes Happy Birthday). Not sure you remember the music? Neither do some of us! Put on your favorite maroon and/or gold top and grab your music or borrow some from the on-site Alumni library. Temperature controlled horn storage is available 9A to 9P (outside of which the BUILDING IS LOCKED, so don't leave your horn there thinking you'll pick it up after the Grandstand show).
We play on stage TWICE each day - 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM (meet 15 min. before start time) with each set lasting about 20 minutes. It's not uncommon to have "encore" (short set) events at Ballpark Cafe after our scheduled gigs and possibly even a 5P appearance for Ian Leonard on Fox9 news.
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at the The Great Minnesota Get-Together!
NOTE: If bussing, plan to head in EARLY as bus waits can get long (up to an hour is not unheard of).
