About the event
Come to the fair and perform on the U of M Stage with other alumni! We'll cover all the old favorites (aka school songs) and maybe a feature or two (thinkg "Hey Baby" and/or "Beer Barrel Polka"). Note sure you remember the music? Neither do some of us! Put on your favorite maroon and/or gold top, some tan or black shorts/pants, and grab your music or borrow some from the on-site Alumni library. Temperature controlled horn storage is available during daylight hours.
We play on stage TWICE each day - 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM (meet 15 min. before start time) with each set lasting about 20 minutes. It's not uncommon to have one or two "side gigs" (think WCCO, Fox9, or Ballpark) that usually are Minn. March & Rouser (and sometimes Happy Birthday).
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at the The Great Minnesota Get-Together!
