About the event
Come join the alumni (and maybe even some not-yet-alumni) for the funnest casual downtown parade of the year! Bring your horn, percussion, flag, or rifle and "march" down Minneapolis streets to cadences, Minnesota March, and The Minnesota Rouser!
Don't remember how to play those? Carry your music! Don't remember the "moves" for the cadences? Make up your own! (If you're hair is white, just go with the "ow, my back!" move while all the youngsters parade around like crazy.)
Note that the event coordinators do prefer performers show up on time, so even though the parade may not step off until 7:30, relive those band days of yore and "hurry up and wait" for the 6:00 arrival.
