Thursday, May 29th, Northrop Mall and Northrop Auditorium
Boxed sandwich supper provided at Northrop at 6:30 p.m. if you register by May 13th.
Playing performance at 7:15 p.m. on the Mall
Program at 7:30 p.m.
Second playing performance (Rouser and Hail! MN) at end of program.

Rehearsals May 21, 28, and June 4 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Ferguson Hall 95
Sign Up! Concert Two: Wednesday, August 6, 7pm, Centennial Lakes, Edina
Rehearsals July 16, 22, and 30 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. - Location TBA for 7/16 and 7/22, and at Ferguson Hall 95 for 7/30 (note Tuesday rehearsal the 22nd because of Aquatennial parade)

As you may have noticed, there is a new bit of content on the site. The Executive Council considered and approved a request from a former band member to advertise his small business on the web site in exchange for a small fee and potential scholarship donations. During the course of this discussion, the option of adding a small, unobtrusive section of text-based ads with the specific purpose of covering the costs associated with hosting the web site. If you have strong feelings about this proposal please let us know. The current plan is to conduct a trial period of 9 months for this content and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness at that time, but the feedback and concerns of our membership are important to us. |

The University of Minnesota Athletic Department has posted a virtual tour on GopherSports.com of TCF Band, err, Bank Stadium, the soon-to-be-new home of the Pride of Minnesota -- The U. of M. Marching Band. The virtual tour includes a stop in the Marching Band's home within the stadium, featuring the main lobby and the main rehearsal room. The video also walks through the floor plan of the marching band's entire space. Other areas of the stadium in the virtual tour include the DQ Club Room, the Loge Boxes, and the Premium Seating Lobby.
